KEYWORDS, KEYWORDS AND KEYWORDS

Whoever thought "keywords" could make people so much money?

Say goodbye to the days of people searching through newspapers and books to find information and say hello to the days of people using Search Engines to find everything.

What do people use when searching to find information?
KEYWORDS!

Every purchase online typically starts with a keyword search in Google, Bing, Yahoo or another search engine.
Keywords are exciting.  Keywords are like those clues on a treasure map that you follow to find the pot of gold (the customers).  If you can understand how to choose keywords, you will understand how to make money online.
Before we show you how to find keywords, we would like to bring to your attention some (what we think) amazing keyword stats.

Amazing Keyword Stats..
Here are some Internet usage stats for you.
  • There are 1.4 BILLION Internet users in the world - that accounts for only 21-22% of the population (naturally, this number will increase).
  • Research shows that 84-85% of these Internet users will use a search engine to find the information, websites, or products they are looking for.  Many of these people will purchase something online!
  • The average Internet user spends 1 hour and 53 minutes per month on Google searching!
  • The average person visits 2,700 website's per month!
  • Google serves 250,000,000 searches every day!
This is a lot of activity and a lot of keyword searches.  This equates to a lot of people "buying" things online.  This also equates to a lot of earning potential for people just like YOU!
Wouldn't it be cool if you knew what Internet users were looking for online? And cooler yet, what exact words they were typing into Google to find it?
You can.
This is called "keyword research".

There are many tools available that can show you words that users are searching for, how many times they are typed into Google each day, and other phrases like it that searchers are using.
So how do you figure out which keywords convert? Which sort of keywords are people putting into Google before they buy something?

Doing Your Keyword Research
Making sure your keywords for your headline are low competition and have a healthy overall search volume for the month and are trending upwards over time are the first key elements any marketer should concentrate on before posting about a product they want to make money on.
Unfortunately it takes a lot of time researching keywords typically in a few windows before posting a profitable headline, so to save time and effort I highly recommend you use a SEO
WordPress Plugin called Keyword Winner. It will give you stats all at your fingertips just as you are writing your headline, you click “get suggestions” and whala!

Why The Keyword Research Is Important?
When a buyer is hot, they are using search engines to find products and people typically type in the search term of a product in Google before seeing what’s available or sometimes they already know what they want so the next main step before any buyer making a purchase is to type the word “review” at the end of it. By adding the word review at the end of the keywords allows them to see what others are saying about the product either good or bad before buying, they can read the actual post of a product that someone has already reviewed or others have commented on.

Proof Is In the Pudding
This is why you see a lot of marketers out there who are researching keywords for their headlines before writing an actual post, because if you want to attract real buyers you must use keywords in your headline of your post which not only grabs the buyers attention but most importantly contains the keywords that he buyer will find you on when they are searching in Google.

I know this for a fact as I have made good money from my blog and enough to earn a good living, my best converted pages on sales are about reviews and indirect marketing approaches using keyword research.

You will notice other bloggers like John Chow who is one of the top pro bloggers in the world that every post he makes normally each headline is not only optimized but also aimed in some way or the other to attract buyers. He is a great example of this as he clearly states that he makes $40k per month blogging, and believe me folks this is no joke.

One big example is I recently did a product launch on my keyword research plugin for bloggers

Keyword Winner and when John Chow got his hands on it, he could not stop using it, and then he referred others to use it and made money that way. So when you are passionate about a product and review it, you can sell a lot more, as readers can smell this from a mile away, so the trick is to be fully passionate about a product first before you review it.

Converting Posts Into Sales Using Keyword Research
There are tons of ways to make money online particularly for those who have websites, but the ones that are missing out are the ones that don’t research their keywords for their headline properly for every post they do.
We all know why, sure it takes too much time and is boring but yet is what is meant to be bringing us the most amount of attention from a headline and traffic from search engines. If you can nail the two each time you are in business.
It is a fact that if you write headlines that are under 100,000 competition according to Google

Competition you can easily get to the first page with very little effort. I did a case study on it recently as you can see and ranked 1st page within 3 hours.
The question you might ask are those low competition pages going to get any searches? Well sure they are, in fact this is why I use Google Insights to see the percentage of overall searches conducted for the month and Google Trends to see if the keywords are trending over a period of time.

The problem is it’s a pain going back and forth to Google Insights, Google Competition and Google Trends for every post you do so this is why I can up with a solution that will change SEO for the better.

I recently created a tool called Keyword Winner to help marketers have all the stats and information right at their fingertips saving time going back and forth but more to the point easily target keywords by having stats appear all in one hit and by highlighting the less competitive against the highly competitive ones.

This tool suggests up to 10 keywords to use as soon as you write your post headline, you click “get suggestions” and then wallah! Below in a drop down the information appears, pretty neat huh? Well John Chow seems to think so, there has been lot’s of rave about it lately by some of the top internet marketing experts in the industry.

Even my friend John Chow has found this tool helpful since he knows that the difference between keywords can make a difference. In fact this tool is extremely useful for those marketers who like to write reviews about products, you can cash in if you mix in with your  posts and add a review here and there about a virtual product from Clickbank or even Amazon.

I like to use CBtrends.com as an example, you can target Clickbank products that have just launched and have no searches and watch their gravity increase, so you know it will be a big hit and later highly searched because it is being promoted in other forms such as email etc. during pre-launch.

So there you have it…If you are a marketer look into targeting keywords easily all in one dashboard and rank on the first page of Google so you can convert those pages into sales today!

Why Google Ads Tool Is Overrated
I am on the 1st-2nd page of Google.com.au for “SEO” and even “SEO Services” for my website which according to Google Ads tool has thousands of searches per month.

Here’s the low-down
The problem is that the number of searches per month is not always good to rely on because of 2 things:

1. Google Ads tool results are based on Adwords so it is good for researching PPC keywords, not organic search for SEO.

2. Searches can vary too much each day or each month, the searches some months can be higher or lower depending, so it is actually worthless to target a search term that has high searches one month and then the following month has low searches.

Why get excited by researching keywords to see they have a good monthly search volume and put all that hard earned effort into ranking high and then the following months notice that the search count is low.

This is why I love Google Insights and Google Trends so much because with Google Insights it tells you the overall percentage of searches on the current month and then with Google Trends you can see how popular the keyword searches are over a period of time.

Really the best tools are – Google Insights, Google Competition and Google Trends, I never rely on Google Ads tool! Keyword Winner is an awesome example, it is a tool designed to help you target keywords based on Google Competition and compare using Google Insights and Google Trends.

I have made lots of money by targeting low competition keywords just when products launched before they were highly searched, absolutely dominate and maintain position, much easier then trying to get top position much later.

You can use something like CBtrends.com as an example, you can target Clickbank products that have just launched and have no searches and watch their gravity increase, so you know it will be a big hit and later highly searched because it is being promoted in other forms such as email or whatever during pre-launch!
So are you one of the few that have been steered in the wrong direction? I suggest you get back on track and start concentrating on Google Insights, Google Competition and Google Trends.

Do not waste any more valuable time, I repeat do not waste any more time using Google Ads tool that will only give you bad traits.

How To Get On The First Page For Low Competing Keywords
Guaranteed

Well I bet this headline got your attention!
It is very easy to do, almost every webmaster knows about the amount of competing pages that display in the search box after you search on any keyword (About 322,000 results (0.25 seconds) . But do they realize that if they stick to finding niche keywords for 100,000 or lower they can get to the first page within days!

If you are targeting highly competitive keywords then of course this is another story, it can be time consuming and costly.
It is in my passion to keep testing and finding low competitive pages that have perhaps just launched and are about to get big quick and I will quickly write a post or review about the product that has just launched and get this up in the rankings real quick.

Please take note, I do not recommend you go and promote anything without seeing how it works for yourself first when you take a deep look and if you like what you see then you will have a better chance at putting this across when you post about it.

Making Money from this by promoting virtual products
If this is done correctly you can make very good money from this. I use Clickbank trends tool to monitor new products that have just been launched. I like using them because all of their products are virtual and mainly consist of plugins, ebooks, courses and membership sites which is mainly what my interests are, so I really enjoy promoting something that I am interested in but of course related to my niche.

Sometimes to challenge myself I might go for a higher competing page just to see how I go, I recently registered Twitter Rockstar.net which is a site from Twitter-Rockstar.com it is ranked in position 4 on the first page, not too bad and has 4,000,000 competing pages, this took me around 2 weeks to get that spot with very few backlinks too! I make $20 a sale which is not too bad, I have made just a few sales since then.

But that is just one example, the idea is to have many niche sites doing this and you will reap the rewards, this is called passive income! The problem is most of the time these other domains will already be taken as soon as they are launched, people grab them straight away. like the .net and .org versions as they are easier to get ranked quicker!

Again you don’t have to do it this way, you can simply write an interesting post like “Why Twitter Rockstar Is Going to Make you Famous! and your url post can be yoursite.com/twitterrockstar this will get other natural one way links to your page if what you wrote about was interesting people will naturally link to you, so then you will get up to the top of the pages quite quickly also! It all comes down to the creativity of your post.

Google Trends and Competing Pages
Now one thing I will say is don’t focus on how many searches the keyphrase gets with Google ads tool, because REMEMBER, we are focusing on niche with low competing pages of around
100,000. (And generally those get between 0-100 searches a day) The only 2 tools we shall usefor this example is Google Trends and Competing Pages.
Again you don’t have to register loads of domains, you can post a review here and there about a product and optimize that page.

How Important Is Keyword Research for Your Website?

Keyword research is overlooked
Researching keywords is the most overlooked task for SEO and yet it is the most important. To not only get good rankings in the search engines particularly Google it is not only time consuming but also extremely costly. So with this in mind it is very important to get the right keywords so that you can make money and also be free to concentrate on other areas of marketing.

How Important Is Keyword Research for Your Website?
The mistake everyone makes is concentrating on keywords just for their home page and they forget about optimizing inside pages or they think it is not as important and yet home page is generally 10% or less of the overall searches being found when users land to your site.
Another mistake is webmasters or so called SEO pros rely too much on highly searched keywords using Google Keywords tool, although this is useful for determining keywords that are highly searched, it can be extremely difficult because the competition for those keywords are usually extremely high.

Google Insights, Google Competition and Google Trends
So what I like to focus on particularly for my keywords when trying to rank high is words that have long term potential and are low competition, this ensures that I will stay in good position for a long time. So with this I use Google Insights, Google Competition and Google Trends.

What I love about Google Insights for example is it gives a percentage of the overall searches conducted for the month and when you weigh this up with Google Trends and gather its overall search popularity each month it is a more determining factor when considering keywords based in its competition, because if you see rise in trends with low competition then you know that this keyword you would like to target will not only be easy in maintaining position but also profitable because its popularity is on an upscale.

It is said that if your site holds a lot of authority including strong backlinks you can rank quicker and higher for more competitive keywords so you can target sites that generally have 1 million to 10 million competing pages. For sites that are fairly new or have still some time to hold good foundation, I recommend targeting less competitive keywords around 1 million or lower, 100,000 or lower is more ideal for totally new sites.

Top 5 Keywords To Use In Your Post Titles To Convert
Sales

How do you choose keywords?
Well using the method I just mentioned based on insights, competition and trends, you need to get suggestions on keywords right? So with this I use Keyword Winner, as you type any given post particularly a headline title, you can compare straight away other keyword titles that are most likely to get you ranked higher quicker. Straight away you will get up to 10  keyword suggestions on your headline and each keyword is highlighted a certain color so that you can easily define your keywords.

Apart from the indirect ways to make money online, there is very good opportunity to gather direct sales straight to your posts using direct approaches and without being the pushy marketing guy. To sell directly you need to use keywords in your titles that capture immediately what a potential buyer is searching for.

Before a buyer actually buys online they are searching for specific answers, those answers usually contain more information about a product they are about to buy and the information might be related to a promotion, review or even something on the border of negative, whatever the case people are fairly consistent with their approach.

I myself have had huge success with converting posts into sales by using specific keywords in the titles that gain buyers interest. It is in my interest to open the eyes of many struggling marketers who are striving to make money online.
Before jumping in, it’s important you understand that the best way to make money online through this technique is to have an end product, the end product is usually an affiliate product, nsomething you can get commissions on, so before you post anything using the following keywords of course make sure you are registered with an affiliate network and have searched for a product you want to promote.

The affiliate product should be:
* Related to your niche
* A product you have tried yourself
* A product that has good commissions

Here are my top 5 keywords I use in my blog post titles

1. Buy
This word is great when you have a real product such as a Camera, Bike or any product you would imagine to be listed in a classified site. For example if a buyer has done all the research in the world and is ready to buy online they will clearly type in the keywords “buy nikond7000″ its very simple, so if you chase these keywords in your post title you will rank high very quickly for these keywords, provided they have low competition. I always recommend you use a tool like Keyword Winner to check this over.

2. Review
You may have noticed many review sites or even posts that some website write reviews about on a particular product, usually before a buyer buys they read up about reviews, to see the benefits of the product before buying, the trick here is reviews are meant to be a genuine review by people who have actually tested the product them self, but sometimes if you have provided with a buy link at the bottom of the review, this saves them from buying later, perhaps they love the sounds of the product by reading the review that are already ready to buy now, so its up to you to get creative with your reviews posts.

3. Coupon Code, Discount etc..
Sometimes the more experienced shoppers online understand that there is sometimes a discount associated with buying a product online and sometimes use the words “discount, or promo code” before they buy a product. Coupon Code sites and even blog posts are very common for this. For example if you find a product that has an affiliate program attached, you can create a post after signing up to the affiliate program and post about it leaving your affiliate link in the post that way you get commission for the sale.

4. Scam
Sometimes If you find the word scam is being used a lot for a particular product and you include this word in a title of your post you can attract the opposite end of the buyer, very surprisingly will you find that after they find out that perhaps the post was not really a scam just a post explaining that the product is not a scam can sometimes lead into a sale. Yes, very surprising, I have created posts before on products with the word scam and converted sales from this.

5. Bonus
If you are familiar with launches or even products that you want others to buy and offer your own bonus as an incentive to buyers you can make good sales this way because during launches especially people are using the name of the launch with the word bonus when searching in Google. Of course you need to have your own bonus you can offer as part of the whole package, as an example recently the Magic Bullet System was released and because the course was not cheap, people are searching around for a bonus deal before they buy, so again using this keyword in your blog post title is extremely effective.

Final conclusion
All this is well and good but if you are not reaching 1st page in Google for your post titles using these keywords and your product your promoting then you are not going to get buyers reaching your page, because remember they are specifically using these words when they buy online and are using Google to search.

Optimizing Keywords In Your Post Titles
Keywords in the body of your posts are really only the icing on the cake, but the real guts of getting good rankings for any given post consists of having the right keyword titles.
Most marketers when they write a headline they have some idea about what keywords they want to include in their headline as they know the importance of rankings and SEO for it but yet they fail to research keywords properly for any given headline.

Bloggers know how important it is but!
Sure they think of using keywords in the title that they think they well rank well for, I repeat, that they THINK they will rank well for, but they fail to quickly research these keywords that they use in the headline before posting.
If they do research the keywords in the headline it can take them up to 15 mins as they will need to use 3 different windows to check stats including Google Insights, Google Trends and Google Competition window and to go back and forth and is tiring.

Because the post already took too much of their time and they have already lost their patience they are now are ready just to post it and get it over and done with, so they fail to implement and forget about how important the main part of the post is, the headline, the keywords in the headline not only strikes the audience for them to want to read more but also stand a good chance to get noticed in Google.

So is there an easy and quicker solution to finding keywords for post titles?
Yes there is, Keyword Winner was recently released to the market and is now the fastest growing SEO WordPress Plugin on the internet. It allows you to find very quickly keywords based on its competitive nature to suggest the best keyword to use for your blog post titles and saves minutes or hours of your time researching and implementing all of this.

Don’t be fooled…
The real truth is that if you have low competition titles then you can rank high for any keyword whether you have a new or old site. So Keyword Winner is great for those sites that are not only struggling to have their posts reach the top for any given headline but also handy for more experienced sites that want to rank for high competition headlines.

So remember headlines
Remember having a powerful headline is almost everything. Without a powerful headline you cannot attract readers to go through the rest of your post. So the key here is to really hit two things in one go, by having a powerful headline and one that is optimized so that it gains the most website hits and readers leading to more sales and conversions.

The tool for Finding Hot Keyword
There are two main goals of keyword research.  The key is to find keywords that:
(1) Are relevant to products you are promoting (your niche)
(2) HUNGRY customers are searching

The typical searcher online will use 3-4 words to search for the information they need
Internet users are getting smarter as the Internet matures. They know that if they want to find a magic gathering price guide that they will not get the search results they want by simply typing "magic" into Google... or even by typing "magic gathering" into Google.
They will likely type "magic gathering price guide" into their search - likely even more descriptive "find magic gathering price guide online".
These types of keywords are excellent for article marketers!

Keyword Research Goals:
  • Find the words people are using in Google to find information about your topic - these are your keywords.
  • Find the keywords that are the most relevant to your promotion and attract hungry buyers.  These are search terms that will be found through keyword research.
  • Give the searcher what they are looking for.  This is done through the page that you send your keyword traffic to.  If you are targeting the keyword "children's weight loss program" you better make sure that your web page discusses the same topic.
If you think there is a lot of keyword competition out there, think of this.  Google gets 250 MILLION searches every day.  Of these searches, many of the keywords have never been searched before and a good deal of the keywords have NO competition at all.

Remember, the average search is 3-4 keywords.  This means that consumers are making smarter search choices when looking to buy something online.  This is perfect for marketers as we can target exact keywords.  The more targeted the search, the more targeted we can be with our promotions.
The more targeted we are, the greater the conversions!
